Machine press
I'm fairly happy with the dips. I will aim to 40kg up to 12 reps fairly quickly. I haven't been sleeping well lately and am a bit exhausted, so this was a bit of a struggle. The gym owner is away at the moment so I'm covering all the hours at the gym. That and lack of is having an impact but training is going well at the moment. I'm running a half marathon in September, so I will need to increse the amount of runningin I do soon. Sunday 28-5-23Chin ups
My forearm still hurts when I tried to do some bicep work so I skipped that again. This workout was low volume, but I made progress on all three lifts which I was pleased with. I didn't sleep well again, so this was a struggle but I got something done and moved forward. I'll add weight to the chin ups next time.

Monday 22-5-23 - Push dayBench press
My bench press isn’t where it used to be, but it is improving again. I want to get 100kg up over 12 reps again.Overhead press, lateral raises and JM press were done with a very slow eccentric. I’ve been working on getting my lower back stronger and healthier lately. This is the first time in ages I had 100% confidence in my back when lifting. The 202kg TBDL was tough, but I've not lifted this weight for a while so that was to be expected. I hope to get this up to 10+ reps fairly quickly. Leg extensions and leg curl were done with very slow eccentrics and to complete failure. The reverse hyper has really helped build back my back strength.
